Seeking proactive, resourceful individuals to support strategy and operations across our properties. Key responsibilities include: analyzing financials and recommending operational improvements, writing code (primarily Python, JavaScript, and VBA) to automate processes, ensuring lease rates align with market surveys, collaborating with property managers to drive performance, and any other assigned tasks to support the Asset Management team. Open to all majors. Candidates must be trustworthy, intelligent, humble, hardworking, and able to think creatively.

Aki is a structured finance veteran with more than two decades of real estate investment and securitization experience. Based in New York and Tokyo, he worked on numerous cross-border transactions including Japan’s first ever securitization backed M&A. After a decade at Morgan Stanley, he led Deutsche Bank’s structured U.S. mortgage business in Tokyo until 2008. Prior to joining NorthRock, Aki served for seven years as the investment risk officer for a multi-strategy investment firm, Ensign Peak Advisors, Inc. He joined NorthRock as an asset manager and currently also spearheads the firm’s data and technology initiatives. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.
