He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Spencer is a Managing Partner at NorthRock Companies. Prior to joining NorthRock, Spencer worked as Director of Lending at Cherokee & Walker, a private equity firm; CFO of Rockworth Companies; and CFO of Wentworth Senior Living Services. Previously, he worked for Ernst & Young in Salt Lake City. Spencer received both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
Adam is the CEO of NorthRock Companies. Prior to leading NorthRock, Adam spent 27 years at Marcus & Millichap as a broker, Regional Manager, and member of the Senior Management Team. Most recently he was Senior VP overseeing much of the firm’s operations in the Western US and billions of dollars in commercial real estate transactions annually. Adam earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University.
Curt is a partner at NorthRock Companies. He is also the Co-Founder of Progressive Leasing and a member of PROG Holdings’ Board of Directors. Curt is instrumental in guiding PROG Holdings’ philanthropic efforts through its non-profit arm, the PROG Foundation, and its PROG Development Center, which offers young-adults access to in-person and hybrid programming, initiatives, and other offerings. He started the Doman Innovation Studio and serves on the Board of Trustees at the University of Utah. Curt received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Utah.
Brent is a partner at NorthRock Companies. He is also a partner at Cherokee & Walker, a private equity firm. Brent has over 40 years of finance experience and was the President and Co-Founder of Progressive Finance, LLC, a Lease-to-Own Company from 1999-2014. He sold 70% of Progressive Finance, LLC in 2012 and the remainder of his ownership was sold to a public company, Aaron’s Inc, in 2014. Brent received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah.
Chris serves as the Chief Financial Officer at NorthRock Companies. Prior to joining NorthRock, he held the position of Senior Audit Manager at BKD CPAs & Advisors, where he managed complex financial audits and provided strategic advisory services across multiple industries for nearly a decade. Chris earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting from Southern Utah University.
Brady is the Corporate Controller at NorthRock Companies. Prior to joining NorthRock, Brady worked as an Audit Associate at Eide Bailly LLP, where he gained valuable experience in audit, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for clients across various industries. Brady earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting from the University of Utah and is CPA licensed.
Kaitlyn is the Transaction Coordinator at NorthRock Companies, where she oversees transactions from contract to closing. In her time at NorthRock, Kaitlyn has managed over 10 transactions, building strong relationships with lenders, brokerage groups, title companies, and counsel. Prior to joining NorthRock, she worked as a manager in the food and beverage industry, where she developed leadership, operations, and customer service expertise. Kaitlyn earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University.
Zachary is the Director of Capital Markets at NorthRock Companies, securing capital and managing relationships with investors. He has closed $1 billion in deals, overseen a $120 million portfolio, and managed a $10 million value-add budget. Prior to joining NorthRock, Zachary worked for J.P. Morgan in its New York City headquarters, assisting a managing director in investing, lending, and banking for foundations, endowments, and families representing billions in assets. Zachary earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.
Jared is the Director of Acquisitions at NorthRock Companies. During his time at NorthRock, he has been involved in acquiring more than $1 billion in real estate, overseeing the operations of a $200m non-profit portfolio, and creating an internal proprietary software platform to manage operations for our portfolio. Prior to joining NorthRock, Jared worked at University Growth Fund, one of the largest education-based private equity funds in the country, investing millions into startups. Jared earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Utah State University.
Ryan is an Acquisitions Analyst and Asset Manager at NorthRock Companies. In his role, Ryan has underwritten more than $24 billion in multifamily real estate and manages a $200+ million portfolio of nonprofit multifamily properties in Utah. He brings more than seven years of hands-on property management experience and has personally acquired and renovated over $1 million in real estate. Ryan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Utah State University.
Ryan serves as Vice President of Construction at NorthRock Companies. Prior to joining NorthRock, he spent 20 years in large-scale commercial construction management with Okland Construction. During his tenure as a construction manager, he oversaw more than $500 million in projects, including military housing developments, airfield paving, aircraft maintenance hangars, corporate office buildings, higher education facilities, and industrial warehouses. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah.
Tyler is a Construction Manager at NorthRock Companies. Prior to joining NorthRock, Tyler held project management and engineering roles at Killowen Construction, Hensel Phelps, and Okland Construction, where he worked on large-scale commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, including the Vivint Smart Home Arena renovation in Salt Lake City, the Adobe Headquarters expansion in Lehi, Utah, and the Derby Roosevelt Row high-rise in Phoenix. Over his career, he has managed the renovation of more than 1,500 multifamily units and overseen multifamily projects totaling over $30 million, in addition to contributing to large-scale developments exceeding $100 million in value. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University.
Benjamin is a Project Manager at NorthRock Companies, where he oversees the planning and execution of capital improvement projects. Benjamin received his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University.
Jayme is as an Asset Manager at NorthRock Companies. Jayme brings over 20 years of experience in multifamily real estate operations, where he has led initiatives across all asset classes and property types for nationally recognized firms including Prometheus Real Estate Group, Windsor Communities, and Greystar.
Preston is a Senior Asset Manager at NorthRock Companies, overseeing institutional-grade multifamily assets across the United States. He has managed a $1.2 billion real estate portfolio encompassing more than 6,500 units across 26 multifamily communities. Prior to joining NorthRock, Preston worked at Bridge Investment Group and other real estate firms, leading $1 billion in acquisitions, $1.1 billion in asset management and dispositions, and refinancing transactions, collectively involving more than 15,000 units. Preston earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Brigham Young University.
Aki is a structured finance veteran with more than two decades of real estate investment and securitization experience. Based in New York and Tokyo, he worked on numerous cross-border transactions including Japan’s first ever securitization backed M&A. After a decade at Morgan Stanley, he led Deutsche Bank’s structured U.S. mortgage business in Tokyo until 2008. Prior to joining NorthRock, Aki served for seven years as the investment risk officer for a multi-strategy investment firm, Ensign Peak Advisors, Inc. He joined NorthRock as an asset manager and currently also spearheads the firm’s data and technology initiatives. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.
